I long for everything at my finger tips.

Every song ever recorded. Every TV show worth watching. Every film. Every book ever written.

I can't describe the feeling I get when I imagine being able to play any song within seconds of thinking of it. I have book shelves groaning under the weight of my desire to be able to say "read that, read hat, read that, reading that next..." I have boxes full of DVDs under the bed, simply lacking the shelf space to display them.

Everything available should be... available.

Each year the internet makes this more and more possible, but there's something fake about that. If I have to hypem for a song, or visit one of the many questionable flash TV sites for a tv show, it doesn't feel right.

I want to be able to experience all the stories available in every format, every form of media. The fact that I will never have the time, even though I am relatively young, distresses me. It's produced too quickly for any one person to ever absorb it all. Even though my collection is extensive, it is specialised, and still a drop in the ocean.

Better too much choice than no choice at all, but I don't want to have to choose...
